Energy Efficient Building Solutions
The team at Energy Resources consists of industry veterans who have a long history of success in the field of energy conservation. Our leadership team has over one hundred years of combined experience in the industry.
Staff members have numerous credentials with accredited qualification from the Association of Energy Engineers. Team members include Certified Energy Managers, Certified Lighting Efficiency Professionals, electrical and mechanical engineers, and licensed electrical and construction personnel.
Energy Resources works to understand each customer’s building needs and uncover opportunities to deliver world class energy savings solutions to address them. Projects are developed with an understanding of the financial goals of the customer.
We offer a broad variety of practical measures. While energy savings is the primary goal we often address maintenance and safety needs in the process. Successfully installed projects have included lighting efficiency, refrigeration system optimization, steam system efficiency, building equipment controls, building management systems, mechanical equipment replacements, photovoltaic solar, and niche services such as agricultural lighting.
Our ability to leverage incentives to fund customer projects is rooted in the fact that members of our team have conceived, developed, implemented, and successfully executed energy conservation programs as both owners of an Energy Services Company and previously as utility employees. The fact that the net cost of a project is greatly reduced with high dollar incentives allows us to deliver projects with attractive ROIs.
The Energy Resources team has experience working with utilities around the country. Some examples in the East include Connecticut Light and Power, United Illuminating, National Grid, NSTAR, Con Edison, Central Hudson Gas and Electric, NJ Clean Energy, PECO Energy, PPL Utilities, and Efficiency Vermont. Utilities in the Midwest include ComEd, First Energy, DTE, and Consumers Energy
If customers do not have the capital budget dollars to pay for the net cost of projects after incentive, Energy Resources has the expertise and the ability to structure innovative financing models that enable energy efficiency projects to be completed with no initial capital expense.
Project financing is often structured to deliver monthly energy savings in excess of monthly payments thereby creating immediate positive cash flow from investing in an energy efficiency project. Active partners include Wells Fargo, Univest Corporation, and Ascentium Capital.
