Lighting | Across 32 Buildings

Energy Resources performed a turn-key comprehensive exterior LED lighting upgrade that included a total of 3008 exterior fixtures for 32 city buildings including schools, municipal facilities, and parking garages. Fixture types included wall packs, flood lights, roadway, and parking lot pole mounted applications.

The project required careful coordination with City representatives for scheduling and access as much of the work was performed while schools were in session. The team focused on City needs, priorities, and existing conditions to prioritize and execute the contracted measures. The contracted scope was completed on schedule and within budget; the City has continued to award change orders beyond the original scope to complete additional fixtures at other City locations.

The implementation of this exterior lighting upgrade will not only result in significant energy savings for the City but will also improve the light quality at City facilities, and substantially reduce lighting maintenance costs because of the extended life-span of LED fixtures.
